"Classical Star is Born
I wish to Congratulate Andrew Penny and all those connected with Hull Philharmonic Orchestra for the wonderful concert recently. An interesting programme was enhanced by the inclusion of the Elgar Cello Concerto, in which the soloist was our very own Hull-born and bred 19 year old Thomas Bertolotti.
I'm sure Andrew Penny will have derived much satisfaction from this young man's very accomplished performance, having been involved with Tom's development during his time at Hymers College. A packed audience responded with three or four curtain calls, which I think produced more nerves than were displayed during the concerto.
I hope we can look forward to hearing him play again in the future when Tom can fit us into his nascent international career."

"Cellist, Thomas Bertolotti was spectacular at St Mary’s Church this evening...
Tom’s programme of two Bach Cello Suites, Cassado’s fabulous suite for solo cello and Caprice No 24 by Paganini perfectly showcased his stunning and passionate performance...
We were all utterly inspired"

A delightful programme of operatic masterpieces transcribed for cello and piano.
I will be performing with Amy Butler in Howden Minster, in a concert online, due to these COVID times.

Unfortunately COVID has caused the cancellation of so many concerts. I will update this section when I have clarity on the next concerts, orchestrally, solistically and in chamber music.
Concertss:

We are delighted to have raised over £1500 for St Mary's, Lowgate.
We reached an audience of over 500 people in total!
We brought musicians from Brazil, USA, Lithuania, Colombia, Austria, Russia and our great own United Kingdom!
We managed too support 10 young Hull born and raised "local heroes"
What a resounding success, and all done on the goodwill of the people behind the project. My most heartfelt thanks to all the artists who came, the Duffy-Howards who have provided a photo diary of the concerts and given us lovely reviews, Andrew Penny MBE who has guided me expertly and honestly in my inaugural foray into the world of Events managing.
